The Friends of the Roanoke Public Library is a volunteer, non-profit organization whose purpose is to enhance the Roanoke Public Library through the donation of its time and resources that the community’s awareness and use of the library’s programs and services may grow.
The Friends activities include hosting an annual book sale and other fundraisers, volunteering at library programs, community outreach activities to generate friends membership or increase library patronage. We work with library staff to help sponsor new events or programming, or expand and enhance existing programming.
Become a Member:
