Utility Billing

While maintaining your utility services, the City of Roanoke is allowing additional time to pay your bill.  Therefore, your charges will continue to accumulate.  If you are able to pay your bill on time, or even a portion of your bill, we recommend you do so.  This will prevent a large balance due when normal collection operations resume.  If you have any questions regarding your utility account, contact us at 817-491-2411.

The regular online fee for Utility Billing and/or Municipal Court payments has been temporarily waived!

In accordance with Public Utility Commission, we will temporarily be waiving late fees.

Winter Sewer Averaging

The City of Roanoke calculates residential sewer consumption based on the average of winter water consumption. The average for each household is calculated by taking the total water consumption for the billing cycles which include December, January and February, then dividing that total by three. This will be your sewer average for the year. The new sewer averages will be reflected on your March billing period. For questions or concerns, please call the utility billing office at 817-491-2411.

Current Lawn & Landscape Irrigation Restrictions

Stage 1 lawn irrigation restrictions are in effect.

Paying Your Utility Bill

The City of Roanoke accepts payments made by cash, money order, check, MasterCard, Visa, and automatic bank drafts. A night drop box is available 24 hours a day to the right of the back entrance, on the south side of the building. Please call 817-491-2411 for account assistance or any questions.

New Look for Utility Billing Statements

Starting in October 2017, City of Roanoke utility bills and late notices will be a full-page statement. We are retiring the postcard to allow for more information about your monthly water and sewer usage. The new statements will have a monthly usage graph for the full year so you can monitor your consumption. The statements will also include more information on upcoming events within the City.

In addition, we will be offering E-Bills for those individuals who prefer to receive their utility bill electronically via email in addition to or instead of a paper statement. If you’re interested in receiving E-bills, please call the utility billing office at 817-491-2411. You may also download, fill out and submit the Utility Billing Delivery Option Form linked below.
