How can you help Santa Cops?
Approximately the second Saturday of December each year, a Santa Cops event is held at Walmart in Roanoke. A Santa Cops tree is placed at each entrance of Walmart with the Christmas wishes of disadvantaged Roanoke children. We invite everyone to attend, select a Christmas wish from the tree, purchase it and return it to the Roanoke Police Officers and volunteers located at each entrance of Walmart. Santa Cops also accepts cash and check donations which can be dropped off at the Roanoke Police Department at any time.
For additional information, please contact Detective Sandy Pettigrew at 817.491.6052.
How do I refer a family to the Santa Cop program?
If you know of a family that needs the help of Santa Cops, please contact the Roanoke Food Pantry at 817.491.4451. The children in the Santa Cops program are provided to the Roanoke Police Department by the Roanoke Food Pantry and must live within Northwest ISD.
