2023 - Municipal General Elections - Cancelled

The Roanoke City Council, at it's February 28, 2023 meeting, passed Ordinance No. 2023-103, cancelling the May 6, 2023 General Election, declaring unopposed candidates in Ward 1, Ward 2, and Ward 3.

The Roanoke City Council, at it's January 24, 2023 meeting, passed Ordinance No. 2023-100, ordering an election to be held on May 6, 2023.

An election will be held for the purpose of electing three (3) City Council Members; all for three (3) year terms.
